JROTC Medal Award Program

At the end of each school year, the MOAACC presents outstanding High School Junior ROTC Cadets with the “MOAA Medal” for demonstrating academic achievement and aptitude for military service. A new program began in 2022. We will now provide a monetary award to each of the 15 Brevard County High School JROTC award recipients through your 501c3 MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation (GDF). We want to use the medal and the money to encourage those with an aptitude and desire for military service to pursue future military career options. The funds will also enhance the prestige of the MOAA award and differentiate it from awards given by other civic and veteran organizations. The funds are intended to help offset the costs of applying for college and facilitate discussions for serving in the military.   Look for additional information in the Five Things, THE INTERCOM and on our website.

We need your help—You’ll see the ads in our Five Things, THE INTERCOMk, on our website and we will send campaign emails each Fall and Spring to encourage donations to this cause.
