MOAACC Luncheon w/Guest Speaker - D. Keith Winsten, Executive Director Brevard Zoo

D. Keith Winsten is the Executive Director of the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne. With over 30 years’ leadership experience in non-profit administration, communications, wildlife conservation and environmental education, he has worked in New York and Massachusetts and at zoos in Rhode Island and Chicago.

Mr. Winsten earned a B.S. in Biology from Yale University and a M.S. in Public Health from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Due to his extensive work he has garnered national awards and helped in development of professional training programs in the United States, Brazil and China.

Since his arrival in Brevard County in 2004 he has served on the Citizen Oversight Committee for the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program and as a member of the Space Coast Tourist Council where he is currently chair of the Marketing Committee.

Professionally he’s active in the Association of Zoos and Aquariums where he chaired the Conservation Education Committee and as a Board Member.

He is a proud father of three children and 2 dogs.

Cost is $20.00 for luncheon.  Meal choices are:
1. Chicken Lo Mein
2. Oriental Salad w/ Gr. Chicken
3. Vegetarian/Gluten Free Meal Upon Request Only

All meals include rolls & butter, coffee & tea and the Chef's sweet choice for dessert. Cash bar available.
