MISSION STATEMENT: The purpose of the Missing in America Project (MIAP) is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of American veterans through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations, and to provide honor, respect and dignity to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten heroes.

CALL TO HONOR #23: In cooperation with Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society and Davis Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Melbourne, MIAP will be interring the unclaimed cremains of 15 veterans, 1 spouse of a veteran and 2 veterans that are private cases that were brought to us, with full military honors, at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
The veterans being interred served in the US Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force during World War II, Korea, Vietnam and other non-war specific periods. We will also inter a spouse of a US Air Force veteran that served in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. The longest that any of these being interred has been unclaimed is since 1978.
There will be an escort for this service that will leave from American Legion Post 1, 1281 N. US Hwy. 1, Titusville, FL 32796, to the cemetery. Any and all motorcycle organizations, riders, and vehicles are welcome to participate. Meeting time is 8:30AM at the Post for a safety briefing, and the escort will depart (KSU) to the cemetery at 9:10AM.
