Guest Speaker - Dr Mark Rendell, Superintendent, School District of Brevard County

Dr. Mark Rendell, Superintendent of Brevard Public Schools, has dedicated more than 30 years to public education. Over his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, principal, district-level administrator, and superintendent—always with a commitment to students, families, and the communities he serves.

Dr. Rendell earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from James Madison University, where he attended on a U.S. Army R.O.T.C. scholarship before serving as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He later completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.

A significant portion of Dr. Rendell’s professional journey has taken place at Brevard Public Schools. He has served as a teacher at Satellite High School; assistant principal at Melbourne High School, Eau Gallie High School, and Cocoa High School; and principal of Titusville High School and Cocoa Beach Junior–Senior High School.

Dr. Rendell and his wife of 34 years, Heidi, have three children—Nathaniel, Lucas, and Sarah Grace—who are all graduates of Florida public schools and proud alumni of UF, UNF, and UCF.

Cost is $25.00 for luncheon.  Meal choices are:

1. Beef Stroganoff over Pasta w/veggies
2. Chef Salad
3. Vegetarian meals available upon request

All meals include rolls & butter, coffee & tea and the Chef's sweet choice for dessert. Cash bar available.
