Description

For months now, not a day has gone by without COVID-19 infections being a major topic of discussion.  Controlling the infection is on everyone’s mind, and that impacts what we do and how with interact with others.  Our topic for the November “Bring Your Own Coffee and Donuts to Learn” program is Infection Control and how one of our advertising/sponsors, Hospice of St. Francis Reflections (SFR) Lifestage Care is dealing with the COVID-19 health crisis.  Our speaker is Dr. Lauren Loftis, the Chief Medical Officer of St. Francis Reflections.  Dr. Loftis will not only provide insights on COVID-19 and infection control, but also discuss services offered by SFR.

Dr. Loftis’ joined SFR in February of 2020.  Her first full-time day there was the same day the federal state of emergency for COVID-19 was declared.  Since March, she has navigated SFR’s planning and crisis response related to COVID-19.  During this time, SFR has continued to provide care to all their patients without pause.  Dr. Loftis will discuss the many ways that COVID-19 has impacted SFR and how they have responded to this unprecedented challenge.

Join us virtually using Zoom VTC as we welcome Dr. Loftis as our November speaker on Thursday, 19 November at 0930, immediately following an abbreviated TMBC.   If you haven’t registered for a previous virtual TMBC, “click” on the events calendar link on our website to register to receive the joining instructions for the event.
