Description

Luncheon to Honor Outstanding Local Students

At our April Luncheon we will pay tribute to the outstanding military cadets from Brevard County ROTC, JROTC, Sea Cadet Units, Civil Air Patrol Squadrons and the Space Coast Young Marines. These young men and women are the best of the best and will be our future leaders.  We are very proud to have increased our association by adding the Space Coast Young Marines Unit this year.  We now offer support to a total of 21 units that are developing our future leaders.  Each cadet and their military science instructor are invited to attend this luncheon as our guest.  In addition, family members are invited to attend at their own expense.  Each cadet will be recognized and presented with a certificate for their achievement.  In addition, ROTC and JROTC cadets will receive the MOAA Medal and ribbon at a later date at a local unit’s award ceremony.

Show your support for these outstanding young scholars by attending this luncheon.  Meet and congratulate them, their instructors, and their families.  The presentations will be available online via Zoom technology for those members that are not available or choose not to attend in person due to COVID concerns.  At a later date, each of these organizations will have their own awards program to honor their military students.  Our chapter and many other civic and military organizations will participate in each of these events when possible.

The Luncheon is Tuesday, 20 April 2021.  Please arrive by 11:30 AM for check-in and seating.  The Call-To-Order is promptly at 12 noon.  Lunch will be served at 12:05 PM and the program begins at 12:25 PM.  You can find luncheon choices and reservation information on our website (Click Here) and in the April edition of The Intercom news magazine.

Reservations are required by the deadline 13 April to receive meal service.
