g on the information superhighway is fraught with danger—scams, identity theft, hackings are but some of those perils. The pandemic has helped to encourage and perpetuate even more cyber-attacks. Travelers need to be wary. Kicking off the New Year as our January speaker for the “Bring Your Own Coffee and Donuts to Learn” Program Series is Capt Kimberly Hopkins, USAF-Fmr and her topic is “Cyber-attacks in the Face of the Pandemic”.
Kim is one of our chapter members living in Shalimar, FL, near Eglin AFB, where she and her husband, Steve own and operate the company, Computer Help on the Florida panhandle to provide engineering solutions to their clients. Kim is an Air Force Academy Graduate and holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of West Florida (UWF). She also holds a certificate in Intelligence Analysis from UWF. In her free time, she is a national-level Senior Olympian, competing in tennis, archery, cycling and powerlifting.
