17 Apr — 30th Annual Stars and Stripes Patriotic Golf Classic hosted by the Military Affairs Council of Accelerate Brevard 1100- 1800. 17 Apr — NEW VENUE Second Annual Space Coast Military Enlistment Ceremony 1500- Check in; 1600-1700 Ceremony. Viera High School Football Field Support more than 300 young men and women who have elected to enlist in all military service branches at or near high school graduation. Sponsored by Parks and Rec, MIRA, D2 Commissioner and Accelerate Brevard , come to see this amazing new facility 15 months in the making and years in planning. 24April — 5th Annual NVHS Golf Tournament Fundraiser 0700-1400 at Rockledge Country Club. Sponsors needed and registration at $125 per golfer available at: event@nvhs.org. Prizes, Lunch, Hole in One free Car and much more, all to support the work of NVHS to prevent veteran family homelessness. and help those who are.

3-19 May — Florida’s 38th Annual “All Veterans Reunion” at Wickham Park. Sponsored by Veterans Memorial Reunion Inc. Wall escort and set up 03 May. Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Vietnam and Global War on Terror Moving Walls. Register wreaths from 1530-1800. Ceremony starts at 1800. The full reunion featuring vendors, food, live music, beverages, moving walls, static displays and much more daily from 07-10 May into the evenings. 16 May — Space Coast Honor Flight #2 of 5 2026 visits by veterans to see their monuments and memorials in Wash DC. Starts at 0400 hours at Melbourne International Airport Main Terminal with Welcome home set 2030 hours same evening. Come out and honor these veterans , some from the Korean War era and their Guardians that will travel with them. Many veteran organizations and community groups support this amazing program. MOAACC Good Deeds funds FIT ROTC Cadets and Veterans in the VA sponsored FIT Psych PhD program to serve as guardians throughout the year. Contact schf.org for more information and to sign up on the waiting list for both honorees and guardians.

0700 - 1030. — Register for Freedom Ride at BVMC Plaza and Mall Parking Lot. Briefing at 1030.
1100- 1230. — Ride for Freedom KSU with B52H Flyover! Check RTFL1.org for route and more information about this three day event which is planned at the new BVMC Park for several more years over Memorial Day Weekend.
23 May - - Merchant Marine Day - Navy League and Propeller Club Cape Canaveral - Rusty's at the Port - 1000 program - 1030 Boat tour of port, lay wreath - 1200 lunch at Rusty's
25 May — BVMC Memorial Day Ceremony BVMC Plaza 0930-1100. See Poster in late April. .
25 May — Memorial Day Observance - CAPE CANAVERAL NATIONAL CEMETERY. 0900-1030 , 5525 US Highway 1, Mims. The annual Remember and Honor Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the Flag Assembly Area. Keynote Speaker is Kayla Giuliano, a USMC Combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. The MC is Mindy Levy of IHeart Radio Morning Show. Pastor Wintley Phipps will perform the National Anthem. A limited number of chairs are provided, lawn chairs welcome, water available.
25 May — Cocoa Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony at Cocoa Village and Riverfront Park. Parade begins at 1530 with the Ceremony at 1700. The keynote speaker is combat veteran Jason Madrigale, an Army Calvary Scout and Purple Heart recipient, who served in Iraq and now works with St Francis Hospice to support other veterans. The Chaplain will be Jonelle Capitano of St Francis who was a Captain in the Air Force and former Army Spec4. Cocoa JROTC will provide support including folding the flag. Cocoa Police and Fire Units will also be engaged in the ceremony. Contact MC Donn Weaver 757-871-6576 for details.

4 July BCSO/BVMC Independence Day Parade and America 250 Celebration. (1000 - 1300). Check BCSO web site to register in the parade in May. Parade starts at Merritt Island High School ( 1000- with set up (0830-1000) and continues to Edgewood jr/sr High School and the BVMC Plaza a an Park where we plan food trucks and music to celebrate 250 years of America and Veterans who created, protected and continued America as we know and love it.
11 Jul — Veterans Appreciation Day at DAV Chapter 109 in Titusville 1500-1800 at 435 N. Singleton Ave. Food , Drinks, games, movies and camaraderie!!!
AUGUST
9 Aug — Annual Military Order of Purple Heart Recognition Ceremony at the BVMC Museum (1400-1600) with special recognition of 10 Purple Heart Recipients. Their stories of courage and sacrifice will be told. Quilts of Valor also presented along with recognition from several officials. Contact Donn Weaver for more information.
SEPTEMBER
9 Sep — 25th Annual Commemoration of the attacks on America on 9/11/2001 sponsored by Club 1013 And BVMC. (1700-1830) In the Plaza or new Park Amphitheater. Details in July.

7 Nov — Annual St Francis Hospice 5K Run for Veterans at the new Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater and Plaza 0730- 1130. Includes vendors, awards, veteran pinning as SFH raises funds for their “ We Honor Veterans Program “ throughout the County all year. Details and registration in August.
7 Nov Annual Cape Canaveral Veterans Day Parade sponsored by VFW Post 10131. Starts and Ends near the Cape Canaveral City Hall at 1111 Hours until 1330. Includes music, vendors, food, and more. Sign ups and more information by August.
11 Nov — Veteran Day Events at BVMC and many other locations in the county. Details in August.
DECEMBER
5 Dec — Annual Merritt Island Grand Illumination sponsored by CAMI and BVMC 1500- 2000 at BVMC Plaza. More details in August.
12 Dec. — Wreaths Across America Ceremony at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery and other Brevard locations. CCNC 0800 - 1030 for family and friends, 1030 - 1100 to lay wreaths and 1100-1130 for the Ceremony at the Flag Assembly Area. Details in August.
