- Feb — BVMC Library Discussion Series 1800-1930 : Trauma and Tenacity in Vietnam: A Surgeon’s Story. Presented by Prof Mary Jane Ingui. Prof. Ingui is on the staff at UCF and has written a book about her Vietnam experiences. Look for more details too, Contact Paul Julian and BVMC for any questions.
- Feb — Every Day is Veterans Day presented by One Senior Place, 8085 Spyglass Rd, Viera. 1000-1330 . Vendors with tents in outdoor layout, door prizes, food and lots of valuable information for veterans who are senior. Call 321-751-6771 for more information and to register as a vendor.
- Feb — JROTC Drill Meet #2. BVMC Park 0630-1230 Support more than 200 cadets from at least 10 schools as they compete in Color Guard, Squad and Platoon Drills as well as Rifle Demonstration. Best time to see all and help award trophies is 1030-1200. Contact Donn Weaver 757-871-6576 for more info.
- Feb — USAF and Space Force JROTC Drill Meet at Melbourne High 0800-1200. Suggest Visit between 0930- 1100. Trophies also funded by MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation. Contact Donn Weaver for more information..
- Feb — United for Heroes : A gala for Hope and Healing 1700 - 2100 Radisson Resort at the Port 8701 Astronaut Blvd. Dinner, special Guest Speakers”. Sheriff Mark Lamb, US Navy Seal Ross Munro, MC by Rachel Sadoff and auction by Sheriff Wayne Ivey. Proceeds to help end veteran and first responder suicides. Four Medal of Honor Recipients expected to attend with proceeds going to support local veterans in need, veteran 501c3 projects and cadet youth of Brevard County. Contact BVMC Vice President Don Pearsall for more information or to help sponsor in the meantime on 321-453-1776, ext 1.
- Mar — JROTC District Championships Drill Meet, BVMC Park 1000-1300 after Medal of Honor 5K Fundraiser. Support more than 200 cadets from at least 10 schools as they compete in Color Guard, Squad and Platoon Drills as well as Rifle Demonstration. The JROTC will also support and be engaged in the MOH 5K, including several runners from all 14 JROTC programs. Courageous Division Sea Cadets also to assist MOH 5K. - Apr — 2026 Shrimp Feast sponsored by the Propeller Club 1800-2200 at Gator’s Portside in Cape Canaveral Port. Event helps Propeller Club Maritime Education Programs while enjoying great seafood and having fun with door prizes, live auction and dancing. Cocktails at 1800 with Shrimp Dinner beginning at 1830. - Apr. — Space Coast Honor Flight #1 of 5 2026 visits by veterans to see their monuments and memorials in Wash DC. Starts at 0400 hours at Melbourne International Airport Main Terminal with Welcome home set 2030 hours same evening. Come out and honor these veterans , some from the Korean War era and their Guardians that will travel with them. Many veteran organizations and community groups support this amazing program. MOAACC Good Deeds funds FIT ROTC Cadets and Veterans in the VA sponsored FIT Psych PhD program to serve as guardians throughout the year. Contact schf.org for more information and to sign up on the waiting list for both honorees and guardians.
- Apr — Second Annual Space Coast Military Enlistment Ceremony 1500- Check in; 1600-1800 Ceremony. Brevard Veterans Memorial Center Amphitheater and Park. Support more than 300 young men and women who have elected to enlist in all military service branches at or near high school graduation. Contact Donn Weaver, 757-871-6576 for more information.
- April — 5th Annual NVHS Golf Tournament Fundraiser 0700-1400 at Rockledge Country Club. Sponsors needed and registration at $125 per golfer available at: event@nvhs.org. Prizes, Lunch, Hole in One free Car and much more, all to support the work of NVHS to prevent veteran family homelessness. and help those who are.

- May — In the BVMC Park and Plaza: Florida wide Ride for Freedom presented by Rolling Thunder FL- 1. Friday focus is ride in, Gold Star Family Dinner and Flame Walk to the Walls and Monuments. Saturday is Rally with food, music and much more. Sunday, 25 May will be motorcycle ride for freedom starting at BVMC Plaza and MI Mall 0900-1100. More details in late March

NOTE: All Events planned for the expanded Brevard Veterans Memorial Center Amphitheater/ Park are subject to confirmation/approval by the County Parks and Rec, as well as Completion of the project and turnover of the Amphitheater and other new construction to the County. County Parks and Rec Central Brevard in Cocoa is tracking the schedule and providing approvals.
