MOAACC members were both residents being honored and veterans honoring them at a special event at the Sonata Assisted Living Facility in Melbourne on 04 March. The county wide program of creating a Veteran Wall of Honor and pinning veterans in sponsored by MOAACC’s long time partner, St Francis Reflections and is led by a familiar face, Air Force Veteran Christine Tate, who attends many MOAACC events.

MOAACC 1VP attended the Sonata event among many other MOAACC Members and provided this account:  Thanks to all who attended, especially our own 96 year old Sonata Resident and WWII and Korean War Vetetan, George Rosenfield, the center of attention in the above photos surrounded by Viera HS JROTC Cadets and other MOAACC Members as well as another long time supporter Amanda Herrnkind, formerly of SFR and now working in the Property Appraiser’s Office with Dana Blixley.
