Description

The ROTC Scholarship and Service Academy Appointment Forum is on Saturday, September 17th, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center (VMC) located behind Merritt Square Mall.  This seminar is primarily geared for interested High School students, including charter and home-schooled students, area Junior ROTC Instructors, Guidance Counselors, and Parents are invited to participate and learn about the application process to compete for these selective appointments and scholarships.  MOAACC is the sponsor of this event.  More information and a flyer on the event are located here on our website.  Contact Ken Harris at Kharris@fit.edu or Dan McIntyre at d7mcintyre@aol.com for more information.

Here is something for High School Students interested in the military and becoming officersMOAACC is sponsoring a Seminar for High School Students interested in applying for Service Academy Appointments or College ROTC scholarships.  The seminar will occur on Saturday, September 17th, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center (VMC) located behind Merritt Square Mall.  This is a first of its kind in Brevard County.  The seminar is primarily geared for interested High School juniors; however, other High School Students, including charter and home-schooled students, area Junior ROTC Instructors, Guidance Counselors, and Parents are invited to participate and learn about the application process to compete for these selective appointments and scholarships.  In addition to providing general information on the application process, we are expecting representatives from the service academies and several schools with ROTC programs to provide information as well.  More information will be forthcoming and when available, posted on our website:  www.MOAACC.org.  This seminar is made possible by our Student Affairs Committee, funding for refreshments by our Good Deeds Foundation, and VMC for use of their facilities.  Contact Ken Harris at Kharris@fit.edu or Dan McIntyre at d7mcintyre@aol.com.  Help us spread the word for this important forum to help shape the future of our military services!
